Udaipur simmers in heat
City has been experiencing brutal weather over the last ten days with the temperature being in the range of 41 to 44 degree celsius from 21st to 27th May.
Intense heat wave continued unabated in Udaipur as the city reeled under another dry and hot day. Maximum temperature for the day, as clocked by Meteorology department Dabok, was 42 degree celcius. Weather Gods were tough even in the night with the temperature noted at 32 degrees last midnight.
City has been experiencing brutal weather over the last ten days with the temperature being in the range of 41 to 44 degree celsius from 21st to 27th May. The hottest day of the season was on 28-May and on 29-Apr when the mercury touched 45 degrees and the average maximum temperature of the month being 42 degrees.
With the prevailing heat conditions, MeT department is predicting mild precipitation in the coming week.
In a worrying development, monsoon in the country is expected to be below normal and heat conditions expected to prevail for longer due to the impact of the expected El-Nino event in the east Pacific region.
