According Ashok Babel, Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, with a month and a half of monsoon season remaining, favourable monsoon should result in adequate water level flowing into the lakes and causing overflow by the end of season. He however mentioned that chances of overflow by the Annual Fair of Hariyali Amavasya, scheduled in first week of August are very dim.
