Light Rain Forecast for Rajasthan from Feb 27

Weather will change in Rajasthan from February 27 as a Western Disturbance becomes active; clouds cover and light rain expected in Jaipur and other districts

Udaipur, Feb 25, 2026 - Temperatures are gradually rising across Rajasthan. A weak circulation system caused light rainfall at some places over the past 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded in Dausa, where 10 mm of rain was measured.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday (February 25) said several districts in the State recorded above 33°C temperature and has forecast rainfall in the State from Friday (February 27).

According to the IMD's Jaipur office, a Western Disturbance is likely to become active leading to overcast skies and light drizzle from February 27 which may lead to a drop in temperature. 

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Udaipur reached 30.4°C, which is 1.2 degrees higher than normal. Minimum temperature over the past 24 hours in the city was recorded at 16.6°C, which is 3.9 degrees above normal.

Barmer touched 36.2°C while in Chittorgarh, Pali, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Jalore and Phalodi, temperatures crossed 33°C. In most districts including Jaipur, the maximum temperature stayed above 30°C.
