Yellow Alert for Rain in Udaipur District
Temperatures rise across Rajasthan because of an active Western Disturbance; IMD issues Yellow alert for 13 districts including Udaipur and Kota
Udaipur, Feb 2, 2026 - Owing to the impact of a Western Disturbance in the State, day and night temperatures across most districts have increased over the past 24 hours by 2 to 5 degrees and 4 to 5 degrees, respectively. Meanwhile, rainfall was recorded in some parts of the State.
According to the weather office, the highest rise in night temperature was recorded in Mount Abu, where it increased by up to seven degrees. In Sikar, the maximum daytime temperature rose by three degrees. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated a strong possibility of another back-to-back Western Disturbance becoming active on Monday (February 2).
A Yellow alert for rainfall in Banswara, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Salumber, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk and Udaipur districts was issued.
