Spotting of an 11 feet python near Sagar Vatika, Dewali caused a lot of nervousness for the people nearby. The bystanders immediately called in the team from Wildlife and Street Animal Rescue Society (WSARS) for rescuing the python.

Padam Singh, Founder WSARS informed that a team comprising Pravin Singh, Mridul Vaibhav, Arvind Singh, Gajendra Vishnav and Harshvardhan Singh immediately reached the spot and released the python in forest area after rescuing it.

In parallel, his team received information about a 10 ft cobra at Saheliyon ki Bari. When his team reached their, they spotted a cobra relaxing their. The cobra had apparently just gulped its lunch in form of a dog. The rescue team had to carefully rescue the cobra so that it did not throw up the dog in resistance.

Singh advised that in case anyone spots a reptile or a wild animal, they should call WSARS helpline 9829597722, 9414234826 and WSARS team will come for rescue.
