65th Wild life Week from 1st October
Forest department is going to celebrate the 65th Wild Life Week from 1st October. There will be several competitions organised during this week. Run for Wild Life, Eco-tracking and various other competitions for students as well. Students will be given free entry in the Bio-Park on of the days during this celebration.
The competitions for students include identifying the animal, rangoli, on the spot painting competition and film shows on wild life are also going to be held. Registrations will be held until 30th September for “Run for Wild Life”. 3 winners from each category will be awarded on 5th October.
The list of programmes is as follows:
1st October- Flag-off at 7:30 a.m. followed by 5 km-marathon
2nd October- Visit to the Bio-Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
3rd October- Rangoli competiton in Residency School from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
4th October- Visit to the Mewar Bio-Park and specimen recognition quiz from 9 a.m. to 12 noon
5th October- Spot painting in MLSU Guest house from 9:30 a.m.to 10:30 a.m., bird festival clips and film shows
6th October-Details not yet available
7th October- Eco-tracking from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Sajjangarh sanctuary from the Gorela view point
