Padam Singh of Wildlife and Street Animal Rescue Society (WSARS) informed that 9 baby cobras were rescued near a house in the Hiran Magri area. The rescue was carried out by the WSARS member Gunjan Pancholi.

Padam Singh informed that this was not the isolated case of snake rescue in the day. With the onset of monsoon and snakes coming out of burrows, snakes were also reported in Balicha, Dewali, Fateh Sagar, Navratna Complex, Savina and Tekri. All the snakes were rescued and released in forest area.

Singh advised that in case anyone spots a reptile or a wild animal, they should call WSARS helpline 9829597722, 9414234826 and WSARS team will come for rescue.
