9 feet python rescued from Chasda | 250 animals rescued in 30 days

A 9 feet long Python was rescued by the team of Wild and Street Animal Rescue Society (WSARS) today afternoon.

The python was spotted in Chasda village. On spotting the reptile, the villagers immediately informed the WSARS helpline. Arvind Singh, Mahendra and Rahul, under the guidance of Padam Singh rescued the reptile.

The python was then released in forest area on instructions of the forest department.

WSARS founder Padam Singh expressed happiness that Udaipur is becoming a habitat for such huge reptiles. He was also happy that the people are now aware of animal rights and are taking the right steps by informing rescue societies and not harming the animals. He furhter informed that in the last 30 days, his team had captured some 250 animals from residential area and provided a new lease of life to them.

Padam Singh once again requested the fraternity to not try and scare away a snake or harm it if it spot it. He urged the community members to call helpline number 94142-34826, 98295-97722 in all such cases and his team would come for support.
