The Gods must be crazy…that is what comes to mind when such episodes come to light(fire).  Late night on Monday, fire brigade could manage the massive fire at Baghdara, but there were reports of Bedwas hills covered with fire on Tuesday early morning.

Fire is growing at a great speed since there are dry weeds spread over the area and constant blowing wind is making it even worse. Forest department team has already come into action to put off the fire.

Baghdara fire was controlled much in time before it could reach the godown full of explosives. Had the fire reached the godown, the repercussions would have been disastrous. Fire was controlled a kilometre and a half before the RSMM unit. It has been reported that insects and crawlers inhibiting the 50 acre area of Baghdara have been burnt alive in the fire on Monday.
