The Biological Park which is in its last stage of completion has become home to 59 wild animals kept in 21 enclosures. Soon, Udaipurites will be able to witness the wildlife spread in over 36 hectare land after the inauguration.

The Biological Park which is in its last stage of completion has become home to 59 wild animals kept in 21 enclosures. Soon, Udaipurites will be able to witness the wildlife spread in over 36 hectare land after the inauguration.

DFO T. Mohan informed that so far, wild animals including hybrid and Asiatic lions, tiger, panther, wild boar, deer, black buck, chital, crocodile, alligator, fox, wolf, gazelle, Himalayan black bear, Indian bear and other animals have already been shifted to the park. Total 28 enclosures will be created.

CCF-Wildlife, Rahul Bhatnagar said that Forest dept and RSRDC and PWD are collectively developing the Biological Park.  Along with the 3 Km long trail, the visitors can opt for golf car as well as cycle tour in the park.

In the coming days, animals such as giraffe, zebra, hippopotamus, jungle cat, chimpanzee and gorilla are likely to be brought to the zoo.
