Cheetal numbers are rising in Jaisamand sanctuary which has added to the joys of forest department. State Wild Life Board member PCCF Ratna Swamy reached Udaipur. He was visiting Jaisamand sanctuary when he noticed that the numbers of Cheetals have increased in the sanctuary. There are more chinkaras, too, as compared to last year. He was overjoyed to see the numbers of deer family increasing in Jaisamand sanctuary.

Ratna Swamy also inspected adventure sports work, boundary wall work and even went ahead to check the strength of Jaisamand pal. He gave directions to develop all other lake promenades similar to Jaisamand. The main aim behind strengthening and safe guarding lake promenades is to give tourists a feeling of safety wherever they go.
