Body of a dead cheetal was found alongside Goverdhan Sagar on Thursday. Four young men saw this dead cheetal near the gallery at Goverdhan Sagar.

As per eye witnesses Hitesh, Vaibhav, Bharat Singh, Mayank and Narendra they spotted the dead body of cheetal near Panna Dhai Darshan Gallery when they were taking a stroll at Goverdhan Sagar. They saw that the cheetal’s head was immersed in water but its body was outside. Probably the animal came here to quench its thirst, instead met with its end. There was blood inside water.

Police and forest department were informed. Body of the dead beast was taken to veterinary hospital. The reasons behind the cheetal’s death will be known only after post-mortem.
