A pair of Himalayan Brown bear will soon be a feast to the eyes of Bio Park visitors. This pair is likely to grace Bio Park in May.

Sajjangarh Bio Park is getting ready to welcome its new guests. Brown bear pair commonly recognized as Himalayan Brown bear will soon be a part of bear family in Bio Park. As of now the park has black bears and adding this brown pair will certainly add to attractions for tourists.

Coming from Aizwal Zoological Park, Mizoram, this pair of brown bear has received the approval of Central Zoo Authority and there would be no exchange of animals from Sajjangarh Bio Park. This means that Sajjangarh Bio Park will not have to part away with any of its wildlife in exchange for these brown bears.

Aizwal is 2764 kilometres away from Udaipur and the route is through narrow mountain trails. A professional transporter will be required to accompany these brown bears so that this pair does not face any discomfort during transportation. Once all the procedures are complete, Bio Park will welcome its new guests probably in the month of May.
