A male leopard, age 3, died today at Gulab Bagh zoo. The leopard had received multiple injuries of which it was under treatment for the last 20 days.

The leopard was found in the jungles of Jhadol. The team of the Forests Department rescued the leopard and transferred it to Gulab Bagh zoo for further treatment. The veterinarians were treating the leopard but it could not survive and succumbed to its injuries today.

The cremation of the animal has been done in the compound of Gulab Bagh in the presence of the Forest Officers.
