A leopard was spotted in a pipe line under a bridge in Nathdwara. Rescue work continued until late night on Sunday but the leopard could not be rescued.

It was around 11 a.m. on Sunday when 2 people spotted the leopard under a bridge at Dhanyla-Gudla road. They alerted a lot of other people who placed boulders on both sides of the pipe. Forest department was informed around 12:30. The forest department team blocked one end of the bridge with rocks and placed a cage on the other end. Public along with forest department team kept waiting for the leopard to enter the cage but until 2 a.m. the leopard did not move from there. Thereafter, the entire team left the site leaving 2 of their members. We are yet to receive news if the leopard has been rescued or not.
