Panther “Rani” passes away at Sajjangarh Biological Park
One of the first guests at Sajjangarh Biological park and also a prime attraction, panther Rani, passed away yesterday. She was operated on Friday but could only survive for 15 hours after the operation and breathed her last yesterday morning.

Post mortem revealed shock and Septicemia as the causes of Rani’s death. She was aged around 10 years.
After the inauguration of Sajjangarh Biological park, Rani was one of the first animals to be moved from Gulab Bagh to the park.
Chief Forest Conservator (Wildlife) Rahul Bhatnagar informed that she was operated on Friday and her uterus was removed on Friday. Rani has stopped eating for last 8-10 days leading to deterioration of her health.
