2 pythons and a cobra were rescued by Wild Animal Rescue Society (WARS) on Sunday.

Wild Animal Rescue Society rescued 2 pythons on Sunday. WARS were informed by the villagers at Naya Talab that a 13 feet long python entered the field of one of the dwellers of that area. A goat in the field became the python’s prey. Upon information, Padam Singh Rathore of WARS reached the spot with Arvind Singh. The python was rescued and released in the jungle.

Similarly in Pratap Nagar area, a python was rescued by the rescue society. Society Vice-President Jamnadas Vaishnav and Mukesh Gayri rescued a 10 feet long from Transport Nagar. They have appealed to the masses to inform the society if any wild animal is spotted in their houses or nearby regions. They also said that no one should make an attempt to fiddle with the wild animals as the consequences could be disastrous.

A cobra was also spotted in Titardi area. Ramesh Mali saw the cobra in his house and informed the wild animal society immediately. Snake catcher Himmat Singh Rathore reached Titardi with his team and rescued the cobra which was then released in the nearby jungle.
