3 turtles were rescued from road near new RTO office and sent to Biological Park.When Wild and Street Animal Rescue Society (WARS) team heard about 3 star-turtles on a non-tar road near RTO office, they rushed to the spot. They found 2 turtles on road side. One of these was severely injured. The third turtle was a little away from these two.

WARS member Padam Singh Rathore said that the turtles belong to star species which is actually endangered species. It is not possible for 3 turtles of this species to be found all together unless they were tamed. Probably someone had kept them at home as pets and released them on road to escape being caught.
