Gulab Bagh Zoo has witnessed the arrival of 2 new guests on Saturday night as forest officials of Udaipur– South Division brought to the zoo two leopard cubs, who were found abandoned in the jungle.

Gulab Bagh Zoo has witnessed the arrival of 2 new guests on Saturday night as forest officials of Udaipur– South Division brought to the zoo two leopard cubs, who were found abandoned in the jungle.

The cubs are believed to be just 20-22 days old and needed care. The cubs are kept in a special room in the zoo, away from any human disturbance. Forest officials are trying to locate the mother leopard, by the time; the cubs will be taken in care of zoo authority.

According to sources, two cubs, one male and one female were found at Prasad Forest Range (Udaipur South Division).

They are being fed through bottle and kept under close observation of zoo officials.

“If we find the leopardess, we will unite both cubs with their mother”, said zoo officer Satish Sharma.
