White Tiger at Udaipur Biological Park
a team from the Udaipur Biological Park will be leaving for Chennai on 19th September, to bring back a White Tiger with them
Udaipur Biological Park will soon be home to a White Tiger.
In the presence of DFO Mohan Raj, who is already present at the Arignaar Anna Zoological Park located at Vandalur in Chennai, a team from the Udaipur Biological Park will be leaving for Chennai on 19th September, to bring back a White Tiger with them.
It is assumed that the White Tiger will be among one of the four cubs that were born in late 2014 and were in the news for being christened by Jayalalitha in 2015.
Team from Udaipur will comprise of a team doctor along with Forest officials.
This arrangement is as per an exchange program, whereby a Male-Female Wolf will be taken from here to the South Indian park and in return a White Tiger will be procured for Udaipur Biological Park. The Wolf pair has been provided to Udaipur by Jaipur and Jodhpur.
