White tiger Rama to be made open for public viewing from Oct 19

Sajjangarh Biological Park’s latest resident, white tiger Rama, will complete its quarantine period of one month and will be made available for public viewing from Oct 19, 2016.

It may be noted that Rama, the five year old White Tiger, was recently brought to Udaipur from Chennai’s Arignar Anna Zoological Park in exchange of two wolves from Jaipur and Jodhpur zoos.

Rama will be the new source of attraction for visitors to Sajjangarh Biological Park’s. The tiger will be kept in the enclosure next to tiger t-24. The department is currently putting metal sheets between the two enclosures so that the two tigers do not get agitated on seeing each other and attempt an attack.

Dr Himanshu Vyas informed that Rama is currently in quarantine period and is being given only RO water. The tiger may be given local water starting Tuesday.
