A workshop is organized today under the Protect Panther campaign initiated by Wild and Street Animal Rescue Society in association with Forest Department.

Padam Singh Rathore, environmentalist and animal rescue expert informed that the workshop was held to spread awareness among common masses about leopard (panther) their habitat and their importance.

Seeing continuous deaths of panthers in the forests connected with Udaipur and Chittorgarh district a campaign “Protect Panther” was started by Rathore and his team.

The workshop not only explained panther’s role in environment but also cleared many myths and superstitious tales about panther which is common among rural population.
