In yet another road mishap, staff bus of Hotel Devigarh Palace collided with a truck trailer at Chirwa, near Udaipur, today morning. One hotel employee died on the spot while 5 others were injured in the accident.

Ranjeet Jinger, employee of Hotel Devigarh Palace, died instantly while the driver of the bus, Prahalad Ranawat, lost his leg.

According to sources, the bus carrying staff was going to Hotel Devigarh. While passing through Amberi Ghat near Amar Marbles, the bus collided with a truck trailer coming from opposite direction.

Ranjeet Jinger (42), resident of Hiran Magri Sector 5 who lost his life in the mishap was working as a car driver with Hotel Devigarh since long. The bus driver Prahlad Singh Ranawat, resident of Delwara, received serious injuries in one of his legs.

Few passersby informed police about the mishap. All injured were first shifted to Mewar Orthopedic and later to GBH American Hospital.

The trailer driver fled away from the scene immediately. Police have seized the vehicle and lodged a case.
