Celebration of Colors ‘Holi’ has brought not so good tidings for more than a dozen people around city, who got injured in several road mishaps and fights.

Celebration of Colors ‘Holi’ has brought not so good tidings for more than a dozen people around city, who got injured in several road mishaps and fights.

All injured were rushed to MB Hospital. Two of the injured are said to be in critical conditions.

6 injured in Different Road Accidents

High speed, slippery road and drunken driving left half a dozen people injured on the day of Holi festival. Series of road mishap kept the emergency ward of MB Hospital busy all day long.

An unidentified man was rushed to hospital by 108-ambulance in a severally injured condition today evening. The victim who was on motorbike was hit by a speeding auto rickshaw. According to doctors, his condition is critical.

In another accident, a man identified as Pritam Singh was injured, when he was hit by a fast moving motorcycle. Accident took place at Surajpol area.

Mangilal resident of Mulla Talai was rushed to hospital when his motorbike slipped on a watery road.

In the similar accident, Rashid Khan, resident of Ambavgarh was also admitted with multiple injuries, when Khan’s motorcycle slipped on the road, while saving further accident from rash motorcyclists coming towards him.

Mukesh, 25, resident of Devali collapsed on ground when his motorcycle skids at the sharp turn of Sukhadia Circle.

 

4 Injured in Various Clashes

Four people were admitted in MB hospital after being subjected to alleged attacks and stabbing, in different incidents occurred in various parts of the city.

Dharma, 35, resident of Dodavli Village was attacked by more than 10 suspected men with sharp weapons, last night of 26 March. Dharma was admitted to hospital with multiple head injuries.

Sunil Meena, 21, resident of Bhilu Rana Kachhi Basti was allegedly stabbed by two unidentified men. Sunil was celebrating Holi with his friends, when suddenly two men with their faces covered came on bike and attacked Sunil.

Raj, 24, resident of Savina was thrashed by a group of boys; the fight broke out while playing colors. During the fight, Raj fell unconscious, while the accused fled from the spot.

Narpat Singh, resident of Pratap Nagar was admitted in hospital after he had fight with some boys staying in the same locality. According to a relative of Narpat Singh, the attackers were allegedly in drunken state when they attacked Narpat Singh.

 

Water Balloon cause Ear Injury to a Man

The ear of a 35-year-old man got hurt today afternoon, when somebody threw a water balloon at him; the man was identified as Mukesh Sharma, resident of Shivaji Nagar.

Ganpat Lohar, resident of Madri received head injuries, when his motorcycle hit a car during road crossing at RIICO Industrial Area.

 

2 Children Hurt During Holi Celebration

4-year-old Mayur fell injured, while playing holi at his house today. The child was rushed to hospital and relieved after getting first aid medicine.

A 12-year old boy from Kharka Village got burnt while busting fire crackers.

Youth poisoned by unknown people

A 26-year-old youth was allegedly poisoned and admitted in MB hospital in serious condition. Bhupendra Singh Rajput, resident of Bada Hawala was offered cold drink mixed with poisonous substance, says father of the victim.
