14-year-old school boy died after fatal road accident
A 14-year-old school student died on the spot after the scooty he was riding hit a road barricading pole at MLS University campus. A girl who was pillion rider sustained injuries and is admitted in the hospital. Both of them were neighbors and heading towards Pratap Nagar for tuition.

The deceased, Mihir Salvi student of 9th standard at Stanvard School and resident of Bekni Pulia left home on his mother’s scooty accompanied by his neighbor Himanshi Jain.
While passing from University campus, Mihir lost control over the scooty and hit the pole. He received severe head injuries and died on the spot while Himanshi, student of St. Gregorios sustained multiple injuries.
Both were rushed to Saraswati hospital by locals and passerby. Mihir’s parents received the heart breaking news while they were busy in the last rites of a relative who passed away last night.
Devendra, father of Mihir said that everyday his mother dropped him to the tuition center but today they were busy due to the death of their family member. Hence Mihir decided to go alone.
Mihir’s father works in a private company as a salesman and Mihir was the eldest among his two children.
Police has lodged the report and started the investigation. The injured victim is shifted to MB Hospital.
