16-year-old Girl attempts suicide, rescued

A 16-year-old girl was found in a semi conscious state last night at around 11:30 at Rani Road. Police vehicle patrolling the area rescued the girl and admitted her in hospital.

According to the police, the girl, resident of Gariyawas area was upset due to some family problem and tried to end her life in lake, but somehow she came back on shore and fell unconscious. Passersby noticed her lying near her scooty and informed police.
