A speeding bus overturned at Sakroda railway gate on Monday evening leaving 17 passengers injured out of which 7 were referred to MB hospital for treatment.

The mishap occurred in the evening of 30^th March when the private bus was heading towards Mavli from Railmagra area. In between, the driver of the bus lost control leading to the accident at Sakorda railway gate.

The injured passengers were immediately rushed to the Mavli hospital in a 108 ambulance and other vehicles of the police team who responded on the scene. Later, passengers with severe injuries were shifted to MB Hospital of Udaipur, said police.

In the investigation it was found that the private bus used to commute daily on the route of Railmagra to Mavli. The driver however, fled the scene after the mishap leaving behind the injured passengers.
