On the bright evening of Diwali festival, yesterday on 13 Nov, 2 people on motorcycle were run down by an unknown vehicle at Iswal village, killing one person on the spot, the other succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

25-year-old Rodilal Gameti and 27-year-old Ambalal Gameti were returning to their village Madarda, from Iswal on their motorcycle. Near Iswal, on a sharp turn, a vehicle hit the motorcycle badly and fled, injuring both seriously. Rodilal died instantly, while Ambalal was declared dead before admitting to MB Hospital.

Bodies of the victims were handed over to their family today morning.
