Two incidents of fire occurred today in two different trucks. The incidents occurred at Debari and Balicha areas. No one was seriously injured in the incident but the goods loaded in the trucks gutted in the fire.

First incident took place at Debari area where a truck loaded with fodder caught fire when it touched a high tension electric wire. Fortunately, the driver and his associate were rescued immediately whereas the fodder turned into ashes.

Locals of the area including two fire brigades helped in controlling the situation.

Another incident of fire took place at Balicha when a truck troller carrying industrial pipes caught fire. The truck was going to Mumbai from Punjab.

The fire started when the truck was parked near a restaurant and the driver Parminder Singh and his associate were having refreshment.

Suddenly the truck caught into flames. Initially the restaurant staff and locals helped in controlling the fire until the fire brigade arrived. During rescue, the spotter of the truck received minor injuries.
