In an utter tragic incident that occurred on Monday 17^th March, two boys drowned in Lake Fateh Sagar.

Bodies of the victims, 26-year-old Kartikey Vashishtha (right) and 17-year-old Himank Rathore (left) were pulled out and shifted to MB Hospital’s mortuary for postmortem. The bodies were handed over to their parents.

Kartikey, resident of Fatehpura and Hemang, who belonged from Banswara, went to the Lake side last evening. Under what circumstances both went in the water is still not clear but according to sources, the deaths are considered to be accidental.

Himank was studying in 12^th Class in a private school and staying alone in a rented house. The school also held a condolence meeting today morning in the memory of Himank.

Kartikey was the son of Advocate Ragini Sharma and studying business management.

The news of mishap spread all over the city like wild fire. As both victims were well known among their friends, a large number of people expressed their condolence over social media.
