Adding to the spate of highway accidents, a truck hit a 21 year old boy at Sakroda (Dabok) killing him on the spot. The accident took place yesterday on 7^th November, in the morning at 11:30, when the victim motorcyclist Shaitan Singh (21), resident of Sihara, Dabok was on his way home.

According to the police, a truck coming from Udaipur knocked down the motorcyclist and fled away immediately while the victim, who received grave injuries, died on the spot. The Police have lodged a case against the unidentified truck driver.

The body of the victim wass handed over to the family members after postmortem. According to sources, Shaitan Singh went to get a LPG Gas Cylinder. On reaching home with the cylinder, he realized that he had forgotten the gas diary at the vendor’s office. He was on his way back home after picking up the diary, when he met with the accident.
