Mutilated body of a young man was found near the railway track at Debari today morning. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Tausif (22), resident of Bekni Pulia, Payda and was missing since last night.

Prima Facie, police is considering it suicide however nothing is clear yet as investigation is going on.

Tausif left his house to attend a marriage reception of his friend at Ayad, but he didn’t go there nor did he return back to his home.

The family members came to know about the tragedy today morning when a policeman came to their home and informed about the mishap.

Tausif was the youngest among his siblings (2 brothers and 4 sisters) and pursuing B.Com from MB College.

Salim Khan, father of Tausif informed, “There was a joyful atmosphere in the family as my other son was getting married in the last week of May.”

Today a railway employee saw the body on railway track near Debari Tunnel. The body was cut into pieces. Later police was informed and after confirming the identity of the deceased, the body was shifted to the mortuary.
