A 25-year-old married woman and employee of an Udaipur based NGO died under mysterious circumstances, prima facie it is considered to be suicide by consuming poisonous substances.

According to the husband of deceased, his wife has ended her life out of constant harassment from a senior employee of the NGO that she was working with. The husband also alleged that her wife was a victim of sexual harassment by her senior.

Narrating today’s incidence, victim’s husband said that his wife called him on phone at 10 in the morning and asked him to come near town hall as she complained throat pain and wanted to see a doctor. As soon as he came to the place, he saw her lying unconscious and rushed her to the hospital.

Both husband and wife were working at the same NGO and staying at Village Kuncholi, Gogunda.

Husband of the deceased said that he is going to lodge police complaint against the accused who he believes has caused the death of his wife.

As per the law, the investigation of the case will be done by Additional Deputy Magistrate (City).
