A 30 year old jeweler of the city died during treatment on Monday where he was admitted after he fell off a five storey building.

The mishap occurred on Sunday when the victim Dharmendra Soni of Nani Gali, Ghantaghar during a party with his family members suddenly fell off the balcony of his rented flat on the fifth floor of Treasure Town residential apartment. He was immediately rushed to the hospital by his younger brother Jitendra Soni and his friends. Due to severe injuries, he succumbed to them on Monday morning, police said.

Dharmendra had got married 8 months back and owned a Jewelry shop at Ghantaghar area. He went to his rented flat with his friends and brother Jitendra on Sunday. During the party, Jitendra had gone to the balcony to spit ‘Gutka’ from his mouth when suddenly this mishap happened, police added.
