Two shocking incidences took away lives of 4 innocent kids on Saturday afternoon leaving one seriously injured who was taken to MB Hospital for treatment. Upon receiving the information, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria with Collector Ashutosh Pednekar and SP Ajaypal Lamba visited the parents of the deceased at the mortuary.

In one of the incidences, 3 kids aged between 6 to 13 years of Sukher succumbed to their injuries while a girl of 6 survived when a 9 foot tall wall, of Kohinoor Garden fell on them. The 3 kids identified as Tara (12), Jasuda (13) and Prakash (12) died during the treatment and 6 year old Katta survived the incidence after they were immediately rushed to the hospital post mishap, said police.

It is to consider that the kids of the same family were playing outside the house, a few meters away when the sudden rains urged them to hide under the wall for protection. The passerby saw the kids crushed under the wall and rushed to help them, informed SHO Sukher police station, Harendra Singh.

After hearing the news, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria along with District Collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar with SP Ajaypal Lamba reached the hospital to assess the situation and announced compensation of Rs. 1 Lac each to the family members of the 4 victim kids from Disaster Relief Fund.

In another incidence, a 2.5 year old kid got killed by a speeding school bus at Hiran Magri on Friday afternoon. The accused driver fled from the scene leaving the bus and deceased kid on the street.

The bus was confiscated by the police and the dead body was shifted to mortuary for postmortem.

The incidence took place when victim Rudraksh Singh (2.5) was standing outside his house at Chanakyapuri, Hiran Magri when a speeding bus of a private school came and hit him from behind. The bus tire crushed the head of the kid leaving him dead on the spot.

The accused driver left the bus near petrol pump at Sector 4 and fled from the scene. The police reached the crime scene and confiscated the bus. Soon a search for the driver began thereafter.
