Five people, including an auto-rickshaw driver, were injured in a road mishap that took place today evening at Chetak Circle.

The accident took place when a motorcyclist coming from wrong-side of the road hit an auto-rickshaw full of passengers. The auto-rickshaw driver Sikander (in photo above) sustained head injuries while the passengers (all tourists from Ahmedabad) were also injured.

The biker, identified as Arif Ali, also sustained injuries. All injured were rushed to MB Hospital.

According to eye witnesses, a motorcyclist allegedly driving on wrong side of the road hit the auto-rickshaw. The auto-rickshaw driver tried to avoid the mishap and while he tried to do so, the auto-rickshaw rolled over on the road.
