Preparing a cup of Tea resulted in a mishap for a mother of two and resident of Chitrakoot Nagar.

Kamla, a 50 year old widow was preparing tea when suddenly her clothe caught fire due to a spark from the Gas stove and it went up in flames.

She tried to douse the fire by pouring a bucket of water, but the flames just increased and burnt her.

Her sons, living in the room behind her own, came rushing after hearing their mother’s screams.
