7-year-old Akshit Sharma was rushed to MB Hospital after he reportedly fell in a 6 ft deep open gorge at Purohito ki Madri area today evening.

The boy was admitted at Pediatric Ward of Hospital with water filled in his lungs. His condition is said to be stable.

Incident occurred when Akshit was going alone to a relative’s house and accidently fell in the gorge on roadside. The gorge was left opened for the past few weeks after digging the road and putting pipeline in it.

Akshit was trapped inside for at least 20 minutes till few passersby noticed him and pulled him out safely. He was rushed to hospital and admitted.

According to doctors, the child got water in his lungs. His condition is now stable and out of danger.
