An accident occurred at Chetak Circle today afternoon when a Manza car, while stationary at the traffic signal was hit by a car (XUV) coming from the Shiksha Bawan Choraha. There were no reported casualties or injuries.

As told to UT by Janendra Upadhyay, resident of Ashok Nagar, “I was returning from Chetak Circle to Ashok Nagar and waiting for the signal to open, when suddenly a Mahindra XUV hit my car from behind and in the mishap my car was damaged but nobody was injured.”

While, Jitu Nagda, a resident of Lakhavali and owner of the Mahindra XUV said that he was returning from a relative’s house in Sisarma Village and was on his way to Lakhawali, when suddenly the Tata Manza car stopped on the road, causing him to lose control and ram into the car.

Police from the Hathipol Police Station responded on the scene and controlled the situation.
