A car was hit by a speeding truck and one passenger was killed on the spot.

The incident occured near Nella Village, when a car coming from Hindon City in Gujarat was hit from the front by a speeding truck. The truck was going from Chittor to Ahmedabad, and fled away after the accident.

As per the police, Kailash Bhai Sharma resident of Hira Bagh, Ambavari, Ahmedabad died on the spot whereas his friend Satish Sharma resident of the same place got injured in the accident.

The injured was referred with minor wounds to hospital and was later released. The body of the deceased was handed over to the police and the search for the driver and truck is underway.
