The utter negligence of administration and their supervision was exposed when the amusement train at Gulab Bagh met with an accident causing injuries to one passenger.

According to sources, the accident took place at around 2pm when the amusement train ferrying in Gulab Bagh Garden suddenly rolled over near Kikarbadi.

The passengers of train said that the accident took place due to overloading which further detached the wheels of train. While the contractor Tarachand said,”The accident took place due to stones kept on the track.”

SDM Abhimanyu Singh rushed to the scene and inspected the situation. ASI Nirbhay Singh of Surajpol Police Station with his team also reached and helped in rescuing all passengers.

UMC Mayor Rajni Dangi and Garage Samiti Superintendent Babulal were unavailable for comment.
