Baby girl found abandoned

An infant baby girl was found abandoned in a cot installed outside Pediatric Ward of MB Hospital. A social worker had first noticed the baby in the cot and informed police.

The baby girl which is said to be just 8-10 days old is handed over to Maheshashram, a home to abandoned infants by Child Welfare Society and a case is lodged in Hathipol Police Station against unknown person.

Gajesh Mali, a social worker found the baby girl in the cot at 5:15am on 30^th Nov. Gajesh took the baby and informed police. The FIR is lodged under section 317IPC.
