A memorandum has been presented before the S.P. Hariprasad Sharma, under the banner of BJP Youth front by the party workers against the inaction by Police in a case of accident falling under Dabok Police station.

The memorandum at the behest of Jinendra Shastri, President, BJPYM, has been handed to S.P. Hari Prasad Sharma, against a ‘hit and run’ case occurred near Dabok Chouraha on 13 Dec. which injured Nani Bai w/o Chhagan Lal, hailing from Laxmipura, Baneda in Banswara.

The eye witness, namely the victim’s husband, allegedly apprised the local police of the vehicle bearing Car no. MH 12 DE 7777 and the name of the owner as Raja Choudhary s/o Prakash Choudhary, an M.L.A.

The police was initially reluctant to register the case against the M.L.A.’s son who was allegedly driving the vehicle and later registered the case against unknown driver. The victim was pregnant and received severe injuries in 12 parts of her body and eventually aborted.

The memorandum is meant to draw the attention of the S.P. towards the niggardliness of the local police and seek appropriate action against the influential people responsible for the accident.
