A dead body of an unidentified woman was found today floating in the Madar Canal. Police has shifted the body to mortuary and started the identification process of the deceased woman.

According to Shambhu Singh, chowki in charge Fateh Pura, some villagers of Madar noticed the body floating upside down in the canal and informed police. A team of police from Fatehpura Chowki rushed to the spot and pulled out the body. The body appears to be few days old.

As per police, it is presumed that the body of a woman could be of the same woman, resident of Bhilwara who went missing from MB Hospital compound few days back and a missing person complaint was lodged by the relatives at Hathipol Police Station.

The missing woman was mentally challenged and undergoing treatment in MB Hospital. Police has contacted the relatives of missing woman and asked them to identify the body found today.
