In a mishap registered at the Nai Police Station today, a BSF soldier lost his life in a road accident near Nai road when his bike was hit by a Jeep.

According to Police, Chetanya (29) s/o Ganesh Lal Sharma was riding on his bike from Udaipur to his village Vaghpura, along with his cousin Rajkumar (20) s/o Sunder Lal Sharma.  When they were on Nai road, a Maxx Jeep coming from Jhadol hit the bike they were riding on.

Chetanya died on the spot whereas Rajkumar was brought to MB Hospital.  The postmortem of the body will be done tomorrow.

Chetanya, serving in the Border Security Force (BSF) was posted in Jharkhand, and was on a two month leave.

Nai police have registered the case and are looking for the Jeep driver who fled from the scene along with the vehicle.
