A private bus going from Jaipur to Ahmedabad met with an accident at Pratap Nagar new bypass; one of the passengers died on the spot, while nearly half a dozen other passengers received injuries.

Suraj Sharma, 26, resident of Dausa died last night when the bus he was travelling hit an electricity pole. The bus was going towards Ahmedabad from Jaipur. According to sources, accident took place at 3 AM at new bypass (Pratap Nagar).

Injured were rushed to MB Hospital, whereas the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary.
