Bus Rolls Over Divider causing Injuries to Passengers

A passenger bus coming from Lakhimpura, U.P. and going towards Surat met with a freak accident near Dabok, when the driver, in trying to avoid two cows on the road, drove onto a road divider, causing the vehicle to roll over.

 

A passenger bus coming from Lakhimpura, U.P. and going towards Surat met with a freak accident near Dabok, when the driver, in trying to avoid two cows on the road, drove onto a road divider, causing the vehicle to roll over. Of the injured passengers, 12 persons were given first aid at local clinic, while 4 passengers were rushed to MB Hospital as they had sustained serious injuries. The accident occurred at the Ghadali Chauraha near the Dabok Airport at 8:30 pm yesterday. The driver, as per information provided by the Police, missed seeing two cows on the road, and when he sighted the cattle, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to run over a divider. The imbalance caused the bus to roll over, injuring the passengers. All four passengers sent to MB Hospital, viz. Ranga 20, her husband Prem Prasad, 21 , Balkrishna, 21, Prem Bahadur, 41 were from Nepal. The bus was taken into custody and the driver was booked for reckless driving.
