A  couple got seriously wounded after getting hit by a car yesterday near Menaria Guest House. The accused car driver was caught by the locals present on the scene and the victims were rushed to hospital.

Hemlata and Nagendra Joshi, resident of sector 5 were going on their scooty when a speeding car hit them badly. Hemlata received serious injuries and fractures while her husband also received multiple injuries.

Immediately after the accident, the car was forcefully stopped by the local residents who caught the driver and handed him to the police. Victims were rushed to nearby Choudhary Hospital.
