One beggar died during treatment in hospital while another beggar received injuries after an uncontrolled car overran them today outside Hanuman Temple at Bhopalpura, near Central Academy School.

The car driver was arrested and the case was lodged against him.

65-year-old beggar identified as Lal Singh from Village Modi died during treatment, while another beggar Amra Dangi (48) got injured and was admitted in MB Hospital.

The accused driver, Chandra Singh, resident of sector 13, was driving maruti zen car. He lost control over it before crushing the beggars sitting outside the temple.

Car is owned by advocate Sunderlal Mandawat.
