A 7-year old child and a calf were burnt to death after their hut caught fire. The incident occurred at Village Jogiwad, Kotra. During the incident, the child was sleeping alone in the house.

The hut was situated in the center of a farm where stock of dried grains was kept. Suddenly, the stock caught fire and spread across the hut. Soon, the fire gutted the hut and the child who was sleeping inside the house and a 4 month old calf which was tied at the back of the hut died.

Kid’s father was out for work while his mother went to herd cattle in jungle.
